What does your Human Design reveal?
Your Human Design shows how your energy works and how good decisions come about for you. A personal chart is calculated from the moment of your birth, featuring nine centers, 36 possible channels, and 64 gates. From this, your type, your strategy, your inner authority, and your profile are determined.
How is your chart calculated?
The calculation uses two moments in time: the moment of your birth and the moment when the Sun was 88 degrees before its birth position, roughly three months earlier. For both points, we determine the positions of the Sun, Earth, Moon, both lunar nodes, and the planets from Mercury through Pluto, calculated with astronomical precision. Every position falls within one of the 64 gates, each with six lines.
What's inside your book?
First comes your type, your strategy, and your not-self theme, then your inner authority illustrated with everyday scenarios, and your profile with its conscious and unconscious lines. After that, all nine centers are covered, defined and open alike, followed by your defined channels, your four key gates, and your incarnation cross with its angle and gates. Everything comes together as a complete picture at the end, and a four-week experiment with note pages helps you explore your design in daily life. Every technical detail is automatically verified against the calculation before delivery.
The same astronomical positions are also interpreted in the Birth Chart, in the language of astrology. Anyone who wants to learn more about their life path will find a perfect companion in the Lunar Nodes Book, and for career and talents there is the Career Horoscope Book. Our guide to the planets in astrology explains what each planet means.
What's inside a Human Design Book?
The 24 chapters of your Human Design Book, organized into 8 parts:
Part I Who You Are
Your type describes how your energy works. Your strategy shows how you move in alignment, your signature tells you when things feel right, and your not-self theme tells you when you are bending out of shape.

Part II How You Make Decisions
Good decisions don't always come from the mind. Your inner authority shows where they ripen within you, and your definition shows how your centers are connected in that process.
- Your inner authority: your inner compass: Your inner authority: how good decisions ripen within you, with everyday scenarios.
- Your definition: how your centers are connected: Your definition: whether your centers form a single unit or sit in separate groups, and what that means for you.

Is Human Design a good gift?
Yes, especially for people who are in the middle of a fresh start: as a birthday gift, a new beginning, or for anyone who wants to understand themselves better. This is a book you don't just read once and put down, but one you return to again and again. Available in the Premium edition with a dedication page.
You'll need the recipient's date of birth, place of birth, and exact time of birth. If the birth time isn't known, a gift voucher is the better option.

FAQ: Common questions about Human Design
What is Human Design?
Human Design is an interpretive system that calculates a personal chart from the moment of your birth: nine centers, 36 possible channels, and 64 gates. It combines astrology with the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching and focuses above all on how your energy works and how good decisions take shape for you. We see it as a language for self-reflection, not as a prediction.
How is my Human Design calculated?
We calculate two points in time: the moment of your birth and the moment when the Sun was 88 degrees before its birth position, roughly three months before you were born. For both points, we determine 13 planetary positions: the Sun, Earth, Moon, the two lunar nodes, and Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Each position falls into one of the 64 gates, each of which has six lines. From these, your channels, defined centers, type, authority, and profile are derived.
Why do I need my exact birth time for a Human Design Book?
Human Design calculates to the minute. The Moon in particular moves quickly: if it or another celestial body is near a boundary, even a few minutes can change a gate, a line, or your profile. That is why an exact birth time is required for this book. You can usually find it on your birth certificate or in your family record book.
What are type, strategy, and authority in Human Design?
Your type describes how your energy fundamentally works. There are five types: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, and Reflector. Strategy is a simple everyday guideline for your type. Inner authority shows how good decisions ripen within you, whether through a spontaneous gut response or by waiting until an emotional wave has settled.
What does my profile mean in Human Design?
Your profile consists of two numbers, for example 3/5. The first is the line of your Sun at the moment of birth, the second is the line of the Sun at the second calculation point. Together they describe your role: how you learn, how you affect others, and what helps you along your path. There are twelve profiles.
What is an Incarnation Cross in Human Design?
The Incarnation Cross is formed by the gates of the Sun and Earth at both calculation points. We tell you the angle of your cross and its four gates, and interpret their shared life theme in our own words.
How accurate is the calculation in the Human Design Book?
All planetary positions are calculated with astronomical precision, both for the moment of birth and for the second calculation point. Every factual detail in the text, such as type, authority, and profile, is automatically verified against the calculation before delivery. The interpretation itself is an invitation to self-reflection, not a prediction or a form of advice.
How is the Human Design Book different from the Birth Chart Book?
The Birth Chart Book interprets the signs, houses, and aspects of your birth chart. Human Design uses the same astronomical positions, adds a second point in time before birth, and translates everything into its own framework of centers, channels, and gates. The two books complement each other: one describes your nature in the language of astrology, the other explores how you use your energy day to day and how you make good decisions.
Is KosmosGenie affiliated with any other Human Design providers?
No. The calculation, all text, and the design of your chart are entirely KosmosGenie's own work. We do not use any third-party text, graphics, or tables.
How quickly will my Human Design Book arrive?
The digital book (ePub, PDF) arrives by email within approximately 5 hours of payment and is also available in your account. The printed book is made individually for you: allow approximately 7–10 business days for delivery to Germany, and approximately 2–3 weeks to all other countries, including printing and shipping.
What is the difference between the Book and Premium editions of the Human Design Book?
Both are printed A5 books with your personal cover, and the digital edition is included right away. The Book is a softcover, while Premium is a hardcover on premium paper with a dedication page, a lovely gift.
Can I exchange or cancel my Human Design Book?
Because the book is individually calculated and written for you, the statutory right of withdrawal for personalized products does not apply (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 of the German Civil Code). If your book arrives damaged or with a printing error, we will of course replace it.
What happens to my data when I order a Human Design Book?

Is a Human Design Book from KosmosGenie trustworthy?
“Is ordering a Human Design Book legitimate?” is a common search question, and the honest answer is: type, strategy, authority, profile, centers, channels, and gates are all calculated from the exact planetary positions at the time of birth and 88 degrees of Sun prior to birth. Every statement in the book is automatically verified against this calculation before delivery, and you can view a complete sample book before purchasing. KosmosGenie is operated by Butterflies IT UG (limited liability), based in Schwerin, with a full legal notice, an invoice showing VAT, and independently verified reviews on ProvenExpert. We do not promise anything that cannot be delivered. A Human Design Book is a detailed, personal interpretation for self-reflection, not a prediction.
Is the Human Design Book a Human Design analysis or evaluation?
Yes, they all mean the same thing. Human Design analysis, Human Design evaluation, and chart interpretation (also commonly called a Human Design reading) all refer to the interpretation of your type, strategy, authority, profile, centers, channels, and gates from your birth data. At KosmosGenie, you receive this as a personal book, digital or printed.
Buying a Human Design Book, ordering a Human Design Book, or having one created: is there a difference?
No, it is all the same process. You order the Human Design Book here, and it is individually calculated and written for you. People search for it in many ways, for example “get a Human Design analysis created”, “buy a Human Design evaluation”, or “order a Human Design chart interpretation”. It always means a Human Design Book as a personal book, digital or printed.
Is a Human Design Book a good birthday or Christmas gift?
Yes, a Human Design Book makes a very personal birthday or Christmas gift. Simply enter the recipient's birth data, and in the Premium edition with hardcover and dedication page, it becomes a book to treasure. If you do not know their birth data, a KosmosGenie gift voucher is the perfect solution. It can be redeemed using the real details.
